This is a critical fight for the families and taxpayers of Arizona. With our economy in trouble and families struggling, we all know that this is the worst time for a tax increase. Yet Governor Brewer insisted that the State Legislature refer this tax increase to the ballot, even threatening to shut down the state’s government if she did not get her way. So now we have to fight against higher taxes, a fight we know will be difficult, as the Governor and her big-spending allies are sure to raise and spend millions of dollars to try and sell their bad idea.
